Family Connection is a support and informational network for families who have children with special healthcare needs.

Since 1990 Family Connection has carefully connected more than 27,000 parents in South Carolina with trained Support Parents who also have children with special needs.

Family Connection offers a diverse array of free programs and services that cater to a wide variety of disabilities and special needs.

These include support groups, family social events and community awareness activities from its six offices throughout the state.

What Is It About?

This conference is for parents of children with special needs and professionals who care for them.
It is an opportunity to explore the issues and challenges which families face in caring for children with developmental disabilities, chronic illnesses and long-term health needs.

There are 64 workshops covering a wide range of issues including behavior, care & treatment, education, family care, finances and more.

CEU credits will be available for Nurses, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, Teachers, Early Interventionists, and Child Care Workers.
